The Sweetest Experiment Ever: meet the owner
Founder & owner of Rocko's Ice Cream Tacos, Lori Phillips is an SF Bay Area native. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz (go Banana Slugs!) and then Stanford University with her PhD in Immunology in 2012. With a passion to recreate a childhood favorite, Lori traded in her lab coat for an apron. She still enjoys experimenting (albeit in a very different setting!) and talking all things chemistry and biology.
Rocko was a spunky Malti-chi, with a deep love of waffle chipz (waffle cone scraps!) and playing ball. His brother Ace, the inspiration behind our "Ace Cream Cake Pops," was a moody but forever-loyal mini Dachshund. Their spirits will live on here in the passion project they inspired.
