Mark Raymond is the chef and owner of Mark's The Spot in San Francisco, California. With a wealth of experience gained from working in esteemed kitchens across New Zealand, Australia, London, Spain, and Sonoma, he has truly mastered the culinary arts. He served as the opening chef for the renowned Roxanne’s Living Foods restaurant in Larkspur. Mark also had spent five years in the wine industry, in key roles as Cellar Assistant, National Sales Manager, General Manager, and Winery Chef. His diverse background has equipped him with an exceptional understanding of wine and food pairing. In 2010, he established Mark’s the Spot Fine Food and has since earned recognition in prestigious publications such as The New York Times and Conde Nast Traveler, among others.
